See the scoring maths
How do you read a winner's score?
A score is a number out of 100, and the tier beside it shows where that number sits. Every awardee shows both, so you can compare like for like.
85–100
Winner
Scored 85 or more and the top score in that area and category. One business holds it per area.
75–84
Highly Commended
A strong, well-evidenced entry just below the winning mark. A sound name for your shortlist.
65–74
Finalist
Cleared the evidence bar with clear strengths, plus some areas still to improve. Worth a look if your first choice is booked.
Under 65
Scorecard only
Not shown as an awardee. The business gets a written scorecard on what scored well and what to improve instead.
The 100 points come from three parts plus an optional couples' bonus, so you can see whether a score rests mostly on the work, the reviews or the standards.

What couples and vendors ask about our winners
Who are the wedding award winners on this page?
The wedding award winners on this page are businesses that scored 85 or more out of 100 in the Verified Wedding Awards and topped their area and category. Highly Commended and Finalist businesses appear too, each with its score.
Why are no winners listed yet?
Verified Wedding Awards is a new programme, and the 2027 Awards are its first cycle. Entries open in November 2026 and Local results follow roughly six weeks after entry, so the first winners appear from January 2027.
Can a wedding business pay to win?
No business can buy a Verified Wedding Awards result. The entry fee pays for scoring, and every entrant is judged on the same 100-point method under published rules. The score is published alongside the result, so you can see how it was earned.
What is the difference between Local, Country and Global winners?
Verified Wedding Awards runs three rounds. Local round winners top their area and category, Country round winners top their country, and country winners can opt in to the Global Final, with results in October 2027. Each new result is added to the matching category and country pages.
Do couples pay to use the winners list?
No. Couples use the Verified Wedding Awards winners list, best-of lists and destination guides free of charge. If you booked a vendor, you may also be asked to confirm and rate them in the couples' feedback round.
How often are new winners announced?
Verified Wedding Awards announces Local round results monthly from January 2027. Country results follow in June 2027 and Global Final results in October 2027.
